For candidates applying for the post of Junior Teacher, the eligibility criteria are as follows:

For Classes I to V:

• Higher Secondary education.
• Completion of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• Successful clearance of CTET or OTET Paper I.

For Classes VI to VIII:

• A Bachelor’s degree.
• Completion of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
• Successful clearance of CTET or OTET Paper II.

Age Limit

The age limit for this position is between 18 and 38 years.
