The Role Responsibilities

Strategy

This is a Transaction Screening Product Analyst role within the FCC Controls Function. The role holder will provide support to the Head of Transaction Screening and Transaction Screening Product Managers with the implementation, improvement and renovation of transaction screening related platforms and processes to areas of the bank. The role requires the person to understand and transform the Group Screening Standards into process and system requirements working with stakeholders across business divisions, compliance teams and operational areas

Business

Support Audits and Regulatory Inspections in relation to transaction screening

Analysing TS MI to understand trends for better risk management and / or efficiency gains

Supporting the Product MOA / SRM (service review meetings) by obtaining relevant TS metrics

Supporting the TS RRA governance

Manage and maintain the TS Data SLA’s, supporting TSPM’s and engaging with upstream stakeholders

Risk Management

Raise all issues and risks to the required FCC Governance Forums

Understanding of Screening best practice risk management techniques and frameworks

Group Sanctions Policy and Group Screening Standards

Change Management

End to end management of the Change Request approval and delivery process for FCC Transaction Screening Change Control Board

Establish the Change Process Design and Workflow, MI & Dashboards and manage the TS JIRA

Maintain Change Logs, Change Requests in JIRA and the Terms of Reference.

Co-ordinate with teams on the upcoming changes, perform business impact assessments on proposed changes; prioritize and schedule the deliveries

Submit the documents in Transaction Screening CCB for review and approvals and run the TS CCB

Assist TS Product managers in Impact Assessments and Benefit Analysis of all changes in terms of efficiency gains and volume impact for downstream screening operations

Develop a detailed understanding of the Group FCC Policies and procedures

Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Key Stakeholders

Engage key stakeholders across upstream Business areas, Legal and Compliance Technology and Financial Crime Risk, etc

Highly developed communication and stakeholder management skills, able to converse in appropriate levels of detail with Business Heads, Frontline, Middle Office/Operations Risk, Legal & Compliance (L&C), Financial Crime Compliance (FCC), etc.

Experience as the key liaison with stakeholders to define and execute improved control frameworks

Our Ideal Candidate

Experience (8 years’ relevant practice) in compliance / regulatory risk management and change management

Experience in managing detailed compliance and operational risk management processes.

Experience in being involved in delivery of complex projects and deliverables

Ability and experience in end to end compliance review / monitoring execution
