As a Territory Sales Manager you will play a key role in the growth story ahead of us. In such a nascent industry, imagine having to be the very first few who build a network and learn how to sell an Electric Vehicle in India.
Your short term responsibility is to drive sales through retail partners in your territory. In the long term, you need to ensure that the retail partner understands that while we have grand plans, our lives will revolve more around day-to-day planning and executing the detailed sequence of micro events that will help us achieve those giant goals.
This would mean that you will need to establish their teams, ways of working and systems across all the retail partner owned business units in your territory to ensure growth in sales, while maintaining strong relationships with retail partners

What kind of experience & skills do I need for this role?
We are looking for highly driven individuals with 3-6 years of experience in B2C/Channel sales. You need to be able to sell, train & motivate teams and drive processes – rigorously.
The ability to influence without authority is a must have as for this role. An understanding of retail of niche/high involvement products will be a definite plus. Must be able to
Collaborate with the Retail Partners to drive Ather’s mission : Ability to develop a collaborative relationship with the retail partners and become their trusted advisor who can lead their teams and their business to constantly grow
Carry out Sales Planning effectively: Ability to understand in practical terms, the market one has to handle and the potential of the market. The end outcome here is to build a cohesive plan to make the best of the potential, implement the same and meet/exceed targets always.
Conduct Sales Reviews with an open mind to change the status quo: Using sales reviews as a method to identify the critical focus areas or opportunities of growth for the territory. Ability to be strategic, agile, proactive and to fuel the basic drive in the selling and support teams.
Experience in Field Sales, Key Account Management, Client Servicing, Customer Relationship Management or Community Management are a plus
Strong advocate of a culture of accountability
What should I have graduated in?
A Postgraduate degree in Business or a graduate degree in Engineering from a Tier I/Tier II institute.
