Who You’ll Work With

You’ll work in our Gurugram office as part of Managed Infrastructure Services (MIS) – an entity within McKinsey’s worldwide IT organization, responsible for managing its entire global IT infrastructure and applications.

Operational IT services are provided out of Gurugram/India and San José/Costa Rica. Furthermore, operational engineering teams are located in Gurugram/India, Prague/Czech Republic, and Düsseldorf/Germany.

What You’ll Do

You’ll provide technical support for McKinsey’s firm-wide applications primarily based on Java, RoR platforms and perform functional troubleshooting of applications which include backend PL/SQL troubleshooting.

You’ll encounter a variety of support requests in the defined area on a regular basis in a fast-paced environment, which would require you to be highly adaptable and open to working on new tasks.

You’ll keep up with a rapidly changing environment through a strong willingness to learn and the ability to manage your own tasks. You’ll demonstrate a collaborative style and the willingness to help others. You’ll share knowledge as well as best practices and shoulder additional responsibilities at times of high workload/demand. You’ll demonstrate a high level of commitment and ownership individually and in team collaboration. You’ll share a common understanding of a “client-first” oriented work environment.

Qualifications

2+ years experience in JAVA, J2EE, PL/SQL

2+ years of experience on Struts, Spring

Excellent understanding and hands-on experience of Hibernate.

2+ years of experience including skills in HTML, XML, Ajax, JSON, JSP, Servlet, JavaScript, J2EE technologies, and Core Java.

Excellent understanding of APIs and API Integration tools

Good Understanding of SAAS Applications and their integrations

Knowledge of scheduling tools like Autosys, JIL, Crons, and DB Jobs.

Excellent knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle.

2+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining DB objects like Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions, etc.

2+ years of hands-on experience in RDBMS and PL/SQL

Working knowledge of the UNIX platform.

Practical experience with Internet technologies/protocols, best practices & industry standards.

Experience & good understanding of full development life cycle
