Risk – Commercial Banking – Analytics & Transformation – Analyst Job at JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. in Bengaluru, Karnataka
Responsible for using analytical tools to solve business problems aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness, improving decision frameworks and increasing process efficiency
Understand, analyze, identify, and monitor opportunity areas in operational processes/ decision frameworks where process/ logical improvements can be made
Build reporting and automation for tracking various portfolio and operational metrics
Partner with key stakeholders to develop automation solutions (which may include RPA/ RDA solutions) on existing processes/ reports
Use a wide variety of internal and external “big data” sources, determine a meaningful analysis approach and create clear visualizations of conclusions.
Partner with US colleagues to develop actionable recommendations supported by data and research. These analyses are also used to influence lending strategies and to optimize portfolio performance.
The candidate must have:
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering or equivalent quantitative discipline.
One to three years of relevant work experience (analytics, product management, data science, market analysis, economic research, trend analysis, forecasting, statistical analysis, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
Ability to analyze information, develop conclusions and communicate with well-reasoned and supported arguments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to be creative in developing analytical tools and visualizations
Desire to use modern technologies – should have the aptitude to use modern technologies to simplify and enhance analytics, and drive process efficiencies.
Past experience in automation/ decision science is a plus
