This is a Procurement & Logistics Specialist role, reporting to Procurement Manager in Business Area Electrification (EL) located in Nashik and will be responsible for initiating Purchase Orders (PO) in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitors and tracking supplier performance to purchase order requirements.
Checking supplier performance and overseeing supplier performance, on time delivery, quality, lead time and resolving performance issues.
Designing and implementing plans for local & overseas sourcing to reach the business targets.
Supporting regional and global sourcing initiatives as required.
Applying and implementing procurement and logistics standards, tools and processes in the area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost and sustainability.
Negotiating & agreements with suppliers and periodically renews pricelists, terms and conditions as per company norms.
Tracking goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensuring invoice processing.
Analyzing bids analyzers and evaluating bids in order to determine the optimal value along with sales support bid and proposal teams by providing relevant market information.

Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in procurement from medium voltage switchgear.
Knowledge of purchase, sourcing and vendor development is must.
SAP MM module knowledge is must.
Good communication skill.
Excellent knowledge in import procurement & customs procedures.
Good knowledge of material planning, scheduling and inventory control.
Good knowledge of vendor development for press parts, machining parts etc.
