Location:Noida

The role holder will be part of the Client Management Services (CMS) team that operates within Operations & Technology and is a centralised, global function, which supports the business by delivering and operating its client lifecycle services. CMS includes functions such as Know Your Client Onboarding, Client Maintenance, Client Offboarding, Client Regulatory, Client Integration Assessment, and Client Services. The role holder will manage senior business and client relationships globally, oversee critical reporting and escalation processes, and drive continuous business process and control initiatives for the function.

What will you be doing?

The role holder will manage critical, senior level business and client relationships focusing on the delivery of client onboarding to electronic platforms and support for regulatory change across all IB asset classes globally. In this capacity, the role holder will in conjunction with various internal stakeholder holders drive business engagement sessions, training sessions, and desk office hours for the Front Office. These are key strategic initiatives aimed at ensuring awareness and compliance with the firm’s core regulatory expectations and to meet service level agreements.

The role holder will serve as the central consolidation and escalation point for business feedback on the eTrading Onboarding and Client Regulatory processes. In this capacity, the role holder will step in to assess and drive action on escalations which are not being sufficiently addressed by the BAU team. The role holder will work with the BAU analysts to identify trends and assess systemic process deficiencies. The role holder will then work both tactically and strategically to ensure resolution of the issue and management of the business / client relationship.

The role holder will liaise with the offshore BAU team to support on boarding of clients for electronic trading for Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange across platforms. The role holder will also work in partnership with regulatory programmes to effectively execute regulatory client outreaches to ensure Barclays existing client base is compliant for new market regulations. The team provides support to both internal and external stakeholders for regulatory change providing query management, information and static data capture, and control function services.

The role holder will drive key tactical initiatives as assigned by the management team dedicated to providing superior client service. In this capacity, the role holder will take a leading role in market driven initiatives, Front and Back End system projects and associated UAT, analyzing and implementing process, procedure, and control enhancements.

The role holder will be expected to self-identify training, procedure, process, and control failures from across the BAU team. This includes formally raising to management & Risk and Control for logging & action planning. The role holder will then be responsible for working with those escalation points to root cause the issue and develop holistic actions plans. This self -identification process within the line function is critically important given the current level of regulatory scrutiny on Operations.

What we’re looking for:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree.

Relevant years of prior experience in client on-boarding related roles in an Investment Bank.

Demonstrate good time management, ability to prioritise tasks and to meet deadlines

Have strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain strong relationships

Have the ability to deal with stressful situations and is comfortable with the demands of working in a pressurised high volume environment

Adaptability to constant change

A team player with a high level of motivation, commitment and enthusiasm and able to lead others to meet specific targets and objectives

Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail

Ability to identify and appropriately escalate issues and risks

An effective and articulate communicator via e-mail and telephone especially important when communicating requirements and managing Client / Business expectations.

Willingness to build regulatory and onboarding expertise – developing an in-depth understanding of the product offerings and services provided across e-platforms, the high-level regulatory framework and overall construct as well as coming to grips with the detail of specific rules and regulations and how they apply to the business

Skills that will help you in the role:
