ICIS is seeking a BusinessDevelopment Manager to join its experienced sales team in Mumbai, India;primarily focused on generating business from new clients. You will beresponsible for identifying, contacting and qualifying prospects, understandingtheir business deeply, uncovering challenges and impacts of those challenges, proposingsolutions that meet customer needs, and closing new business. An effectiveBusiness Development Manager must be an excellent communicator, have superiorpeople skills, resourceful and possess a strong work ethic. They must becomfortable holding business discussions over the phone and face to face withsenior executives as well as dealing with sales objections.
Lead business developmentactivities and develops growth strategies and plans to grow new clientsEffectively build, manage, andclose a sales pipeline of qualified customers for ICIS products and servicesEstablish strongcustomer relationships through strong influencing skills, understanding thecustomer’s business, and issues affecting their marketplaceIdentify opportunities for generating revenue orimproving our business offerIdentify ways in which to attract new customersto our businessDevelops market (including new market) andaccount sales strategiesDemonstrate our productsfocusing on the customer’s business objectiveGo the extra mile to exceedSales targets and facilitate future salesAsk questions to understandcustomer requirements, purchasing dynamics, and contracting processesPractice good data managementby entering and maintaining customer information into Salesforce.com andrelevant CRM databasesCollaborate with internalstakeholders to deliver world-leading sales enablement andmarketing content, producing thought-leadership and leveragingsupport from content experts across ICIS as required.
